Audagen for Android · Updated 4 November 2026
Audagen turns what you say about a job into a document. It has no ads, analytics or tracking, and it never sells data. This page explains exactly what leaves your phone and what the Audagen server keeps.
Your account
You sign in with Google or with a code emailed to you. Either way, the Audagen server keeps your email address, when you joined, your plan, and how many documents you've made each month. With Google, Audagen asks Google for your email address only, not your name, contacts or anything else. Sign-in codes are sent by Resend, our email provider, under its own terms: Resend privacy policy. The app keeps a sign-in token in its private storage; the server keeps only a scrambled (hashed) copy, which can't be turned back into the token.
Paying for Pro
Pro is a subscription through Google Play. Google takes the payment and holds your payment details; Audagen never sees them. The server keeps the subscription's Google Play purchase token and when it runs until, and asks Google about it to know whether you're on Pro.
Business plans
If your business has a deal with us, the deal lists the email addresses of the people it covers. If you ask about a business plan in the app, what you send (how many people, the business name, a phone number, any note, and your email address) is emailed to us so we can reply, and kept for up to a year.
Your voice
When you tap the microphone, your phone's speech recognition service (for example Google's) turns your voice into text. That service is part of your phone and handles audio under its own privacy policy, and Audagen never receives your audio.
Some phones have no speech recognition service. On those, the app records what you say while the microphone is on and sends the recording over an encrypted connection to the Audagen server, which passes it to ElevenLabs to turn into text and sends the text straight back. Audagen does not store the recording. ElevenLabs processes it under its own terms, linked below.
What is sent, and why
To ask follow-up questions and write the document, the app sends the text of your conversation, plus your kind of work and the kinds of it you chose in Settings, the names of the documents that work makes, the state in your business address (so your state's own forms are used), your region, currency, tax setting and today's date, the licence, registration and accreditation numbers you entered in Settings (so a certificate or record can carry them), and what Audagen remembers for you (described below), over an encrypted connection to the Audagen server. The server passes the text to Anthropic (Claude) to write questions and documents. Your phone's own text-to-speech reads the replies aloud, unless you choose the ElevenLabs voice in Settings, in which case the server also passes each reply to ElevenLabs to read it aloud. The Audagen server does not store any of it; it only counts the documents made, for the free plan's monthly allowance. Anthropic and ElevenLabs process it to return a result under their own terms: Anthropic privacy policy, ElevenLabs privacy policy.
What stays on your phone
Your business details (name, address, contact and payment details), the signatures drawn in the app (yours and those of people who sign on your phone) and your finished documents stay in the app's private storage on your phone. The app prints your details and signatures onto documents itself; apart from those licence numbers, they are not sent to the server. When you type an address, the app suggests matching addresses from Photon, a free address search run by komoot with OpenStreetMap data, which receives what you type into that box and your business's country, under komoot's own privacy policy. Audagen's server isn't involved.
Audagen also remembers for you, on your phone: the preferences and recurring details you tell it to keep while making a document (for example your licence number or your usual payment terms), which Settings lists so you can delete any of them or turn remembering off, and the customers, sites, contacts and equipment on your saved documents, which are forgotten when you delete the document. They are sent with each request so the document can be filled in without asking again; the server does not keep them. Cloud backup is turned off, and uninstalling the app deletes everything on the phone. Documents only leave your phone when you choose to share them.
Reporting a document
If you report a document as offensive or harmful, its text is sent to us so we can review it, and kept for up to 90 days.
Preventing abuse
To stop misuse, the server counts requests per account (kept for two days) and per IP address (kept for two minutes), and sign-in attempts per email address and IP address (kept for an hour). Our hosting provider may log IP addresses and request times for security.
Deleting your account
In the app, open Settings and tap Delete account. That deletes your account and everything the server keeps for it (your email address, plan, document counts and sign-in sessions) straight away, and stops a Pro subscription from renewing. Documents on your phone stay there until you delete them or uninstall the app.
If you can't use the app, email aaron@euloco.com.au from the address you sign in with, asking for your account to be deleted, and we'll delete it within 7 days. Reports of documents are deleted after 90 days and business enquiries after a year.
